本ポリシーは、PenguinLabが運用するデスクトップアプリケーション「KING-PENGUIN Backup」（以下「本アプリ」）における、Googleユーザーデータの取り扱いについて定めるものです。本アプリは開発者本人のみが利用する個人用ツールであり、一般向けには配布していません。

1. アクセスするデータ

本アプリは、OAuth 2.0により開発者本人の同意を得たうえで、次の権限のみを要求します。

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file（drive.file）

この権限により本アプリがアクセスできるのは、本アプリが作成したGoogle Drive上のファイルとフォルダ（その内容と、ファイル名・サイズ・更新日時などの情報）に限られます。Google Drive内のその他のファイル、Gmail、連絡先、カレンダーなどのデータにはアクセスしません。

また、認可の結果としてGoogleから発行されるアクセストークンおよびリフレッシュトークン（以下「認証トークン」）を使用します。

2. 利用目的

アクセスしたデータは、次の目的にのみ利用します。

  • KING-PENGUINの開発データを開発者本人のGoogle Driveへバックアップすること（ファイルの作成・更新）
  • バックアップの内容を確認し、必要に応じてダウンロードして復元すること

広告配信、利用者の分析、AI・機械学習モデルの学習など、上記以外の目的には利用しません。

3. 保存場所

  • バックアップされたファイルは、開発者本人のGoogleアカウントのGoogle Drive上に保存されます。
  • 認証トークンは、本アプリを実行する開発者のPC上のrclone設定ファイルに保存されます。
  • PenguinLabは本アプリ用のサーバーを運営しておらず、データはPCとGoogleのサーバーとの間で直接送受信されます。PenguinLabがGoogleユーザーデータを別のサーバーに収集・保存することはありません。

4. 第三者への共有

Googleユーザーデータを第三者に販売、譲渡、共有することはありません。ただし、法令に基づき開示が求められた場合を除きます。

5. データの保護

  • Google APIとの通信はHTTPSで行われます。
  • 認証トークンやOAuthクライアントの情報は外部に公開せず、開発者が管理するPC内でのみ取り扱います。
  • 要求する権限は、バックアップに必要な最小限のdrive.fileに限定しています。

6. 保持期間と削除

  • バックアップファイルは、開発者本人が削除するまでGoogle Drive上に保持されます。Google Driveから直接削除できます。
  • 認証トークンは、PC上のrclone設定から本アプリの接続設定を削除することで消去できます。また、次項の方法でアクセス権を取り消すと、認証トークンは無効になります。

7. アクセス権の取り消し

本アプリに付与したアクセス権は、いつでも取り消すことができます。

  • Googleアカウントの「サードパーティ製のアプリとサービス」（https://myaccount.google.com/connections）を開き、「KING-PENGUIN Backup」を選択してアクセス権を削除してください。

取り消し後は、本アプリからGoogle Driveにアクセスできなくなります。すでにGoogle Driveに保存されたバックアップファイルは削除されません。

8. Google API Services User Data Policyの遵守

本アプリによるGoogle APIから取得した情報の利用および他のアプリへの転送は、限定的使用の要件を含むGoogle API サービスのユーザーデータに関するポリシーに準拠します。

9. 本ポリシーの変更

本アプリによるデータの取り扱いを変更する場合は、本ページを更新し、制定日・改定日を明記します。

Privacy Policy (English)

Effective date: October 14, 2026. This policy describes how KING-PENGUIN Backup (the "App"), a personal-use desktop application operated by PenguinLab, handles Google user data. The App is used only by its developer and is not distributed to the public.

Data accessed. With the developer's consent via OAuth 2.0, the App requests only the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file scope. It can access only files and folders in Google Drive that the App itself created (their contents and metadata such as name, size and modification time). It does not access other Drive files, Gmail, Contacts, Calendar or any other data. It also uses the OAuth access and refresh tokens issued by Google.

Use. Data is used only to back up KING-PENGUIN development data to the developer's own Google Drive, and to review and download those backups for restoration. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or training AI/ML models.

Storage. Backup files are stored in the developer's own Google Drive. OAuth tokens are stored in the rclone configuration file on the developer's PC. PenguinLab operates no servers for the App; data is transferred directly between the PC and Google's servers.

Sharing. Google user data is not sold, transferred or shared with third parties, except where required by law.

Protection. Communication with Google APIs uses HTTPS. Tokens and OAuth client information are not published and are handled only on the developer's PC. Access is limited to the minimal drive.file scope.

Retention and deletion. Backup files remain in Google Drive until the developer deletes them, which can be done directly in Google Drive. Tokens can be deleted by removing the App's remote from the rclone configuration, and are invalidated when access is revoked.

Revoking access. Access can be revoked at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/connections by selecting "KING-PENGUIN Backup" and removing its access. Existing backup files in Google Drive are not deleted by revoking access.

Limited Use. KING-PENGUIN Backup's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
